Support NCPHP

Since 1988, NCPHP has been dedicated to helping medical professionals experience a lifetime of change and return to health. Our daily work at NCPHP is rooted in respect and support for our program participants and concern for the public.

We provide supportive interactions, referrals to assessment/treatment, accountability measures, and monitoring to assist in recovery. Using quantitative data collected throughout a participant’s program involvement, we can then advocate to employers, to hospital credentialing staff, or to various licensure, insurance, or credentialing boards.

To assist NCPHP in carrying out our mission of “Assessing and improving the health of North Carolina medical professionals,” please donate to NCPHP now.

The Michael W. Wilkerson, MD, Family Assistance Fund

Michael W. Wilkerson, MD served as Medical Director of the North Carolina Physicians Health Program from 1998-2004.  During his tenure, he made many contributions toward building and strengthening the program that has helped so many North Carolina medical professionals.  In honor of Dr. Wilkerson and at the suggestion of his wife, the Michael W. Wilkerson, MD, Family Assistance Fund was established.  These scholarship funds are provided to family members to give them the opportunity to participate in the family program at the treatment center.  This is an integral part of the recovery process.  They are also available to allow family members to seek outpatient therapy for themselves. Please donate to the Michael W. Wilkerson, MD, Family Assistance Fund.
