RALEIGH, NC – The North Carolina Professionals Health Program (NCPHP) is thrilled to announce the hiring of Jason Thompson, MSW, MBA, MHA, as a new NCPHP Case Director. Bringing over 22 years of specialized expertise in co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, Mr. Thompson’s addition significantly strengthens NCPHP’s capacity to support North Carolina’s healthcare community.
Mr. Thompson joins NCPHP after serving most recently as the Program Director for Sibcy House, a prominent residential facility focused on the comprehensive assessment and treatment of substance use and mental health disorders. A proven leader in the field, his deep experience will be immediately instrumental in guiding professionals toward sustained health and safe practice.
Prior to relocating to Raleigh from Cincinnati, where he spent 15 years, Mr. Thompson built an impressive credential portfolio. He holds an MHA and MBA from the University of Cincinnati and an MSW from the University of Louisville. Furthermore, he maintains independent licensing in Ohio as a Social Worker Training Supervisor (LISW-S) and a Chemical Dependency Counselor-Clinical Supervisor (LICDC-CS).
